Los Vascos 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon

Under the direct control of Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite), Los Vascos, one of the oldest wine estates in Chile, is located in the Colchagua valley. The pre-phylloxra Bordeaux rootstock, Cabernet Sauvignon is the grape that made the estate famous.

Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 has a very red fruit nose and chocolate and bay leaf touches. It is fresh in the mouth, light, very fruity and balanced with good persistent tannins well blended into the wine. Highly concentrated with strawberry & cherries fruit notes and marked spices.
